Stainless Steel

200 Series—Austenitic Chromium-Nickel-Manganese Alloys 300 Series—Austenitic Chromium-Nickel Alloys Type 301:Highly ductile, for formed products. Also hardens rapidly during mechanical working. Good weldability. Better wear resistance and fatigue strength than 304. Type 302:Same corrosion resistance as 304, with slightly higher strength due to additional carbon. Type 303:Easier machining version of 304 via addition of sulfur and phosphorus. Also referred to as "A1" in accordance with International Organization for Standardization ISO 3506 .


High Speed Steel

High-speed steels are used primarily for the manufacture of cutting tools. While there are a number of classes of high speed steels they have in common high carbon contents (ranging from 0.8 wt.% to >3 wt.%), chromium levels of about 4 wt.%, massive amounts of strong carbide forming elements (vanadium, tungsten, and molybdenum) to provide large carbides which are present after austenitizing and which improve wear behavior and to provide for secondary hardening on tempering. Many high-speed steels also contain large amounts of cobalt,


Tool Steel

Tool steel is a type of carbon alloy steel that is well-matched for tool manufacturing, such as hand tools or machine dies. Its hardness, resistance to abrasion and ability to retain shape at increased temperatures are the key properties of this material. Tool steel is typically used in a heat treated condition which provides increased hardness. Several grades have additional resistance to corrosion due to added chemical properties such as vanadium. Also, with certain grades the manganese content is restricted in order to minimize the potential of cracking while water quenching. Other grades offer various methods other than water to quench the material, such as oil..

Mold steel is a material that is used to manufacture the molds, including cold-punching mould, hot forging die, die-casting mold, and more. The mold is the main processing tool for the industry of machinery manufacturing, motor, radiometers and etc. The quality of mold would directly impact the quality of processing technic, the precision and output of products and more. The properties and heat treatment of mold steel would make a huge impact on the quality of mold except for the good design of structural and processing precision. Its grades, specification and quality determine the properties, life and manufacturing period of die.
